Who We Are
Bound Home Additions was founded in the fall of 2023 by the Lawry brothers, Paul and Peter, who have lived in New York’s capital region their whole lives. Prior to founding Bound, Paul and Peter spent several years with a local construction company renovating homes and building home additions.
Bound Home Additions exists to fulfill the need we see in our communities for reputable home contractors. With rising home prices, and how uprooting a moving experience can be, Bound is a company that is dedicated to turning your existing house into the home of your dreams without displacing you & your family. We provide a customer-centric experience, working closely with you from initial design through the final touches of your project, all while respecting your privacy and your home.
OUR TEAM
Paul Lawry
Paul has been a full time home renovator and addition builder for six years. Working for a local company in Burnt Hills, he has been a job site foreman on countless projects. Paul is also a natural outdoorsman, which makes his active work as a contractor quite fitting and fulfilling.
He enjoys camping with his wife, skiing, ice fishing, and he particularly loves leading worship at his local church.
Founder
Peter Lawry
Peter has a background in fine carpentry from before he was a contractor. For several years, he has brought that same passion for precise craftsmanship into the professional work space. Because of this, Peter is able to consistently deliver high level home improvements.
Outside of work, Peter still enjoys fine woodworking, playing music, various competitive sports, and outdoor recreation.
Founder
Joseph Papa
Joseph worked at a rock climbing center and as a wilderness backpacking guide before working with Bound Home Additions. He now uses the care and attention to detail required in those fields with the Bound Home Additions team! His past experience has taught him valuable skills such as leadership, initiative, and commitment in a professional setting which transfer well to his role as a contractor. He also has a passion for design and aesthetics, which he implements into his careful craftsmanship.
He enjoys fine art, playing guitar, weightlifting, and outdoor recreation, particularly rock climbing, skiing, mountain biking, and golf.

Daniel Lawry
Apprentice
Before Daniel joined the Bound Home Additions crew, he worked in the kitchen of a burger restaurant in Latham as the primary grill master where he has seen his fair share of rush hour and Friday nights. He brings that same drive and motivation for work to Bound Home Additions. He also has a background in carpentry and fine wood art, which demonstrates his attention to detail.
Daniel is passionate about playing sports such as basketball, music where he sings and plays a variety of instruments, and his faith which is the rock that he builds his life off of.
